Firmament — An Antique Celestial Star Map Mural

Firmament — An Antique Celestial Star Map Mural

Constellations drift across an aged night sky, their fine engraved lines and scattered golden stars drawn in the manner of a weathered 18th-century celestial chart, softened by time into faded sepia and deep muted midnight blue. Atmospheric, scholarly and quietly magical, Firmament brings the wonder of old-world astronomy to a wall — or a ceiling — like a page from an antique star atlas. It carries rich, storied atmosphere from across the room and fine engraved detail up close — made for the space, because it was.

Printed design only — wall not included.
Ships from Texas, USA — made to order. No customs for US buyers.

Stunning on a ceiling
Firmament's circular star chart is made for looking up. Applied across a ceiling, it turns a bedroom, lounge or entryway into a private planetarium — a quiet, glowing night sky overhead. It works just as beautifully as a feature wall; the choice is yours.

A made-to-measure mural
This is a mural, printed to your wall or ceiling dimensions as one continuous design — not a repeating seamless roll. Choose the standard size closest to your surface, or message us for a custom fit. Printed across numbered panels for smooth, seamless installation.

Start with a sample
New to murals, or want to be sure? Order a sample to check color, material and print in your own light before committing. Samples come in two sizes — a compact swatch (10"x12") and a larger catalog piece (15"x20"). Samples are for evaluating material and color, not a finished print.

Material options

• Fabric — Traditional: premium heavyweight paste-applied wallpaper with a classic wallcovering feel — the closest match to Firmament's matte, antique-chart character, and well suited to ceiling application. Best for smooth or lightly textured surfaces, long-term installs.
• Fabric — Peel & Stick: soft matte self-adhesive fabric, repositionable during install. Ideal for smooth walls.

Please note: Our peel & stick material is repositionable during installation but is not designed to be removed and reapplied afterward — it is made for a beautiful, lasting install, not as temporary wallpaper.

Print quality
Printed with HP Latex technology and water-based inks — low odor, low emission, GREENGUARD certified. Made for everyday residential interiors.

Wall surface
For best results, surfaces should be clean, smooth, fully dry and properly painted or primed. Not recommended for heavily textured, dusty, porous, freshly painted (uncured), or peeling surfaces. Not sure? Order a sample to test your wall.

Included with every full order
A complimentary installation kit (smoothing tool + utility knife) plus installation guidance.

Free wall preview
Share a photo of your wall or ceiling and we'll create a complimentary digital preview, so you can picture the mural in your space before ordering.
